Making Donuts

On New Years Eve this year the kids wanted to make donuts.  So I looked on the internet and found a recipe for Krispy Kreme donuts.  I've never made donuts before, so this was going to be interesting.  They turned out to be really easy  to make and actually tasted really close to the real thing.  (Just like when I'm in Vegas and buy a dozen, I couldn't stop eating these either). They were fun to make and as you can see, the kids had fun playing in the flour.

 I looked all over town for a donut cutter and couldn't find one, so I improvised with a biscuit cutter and mini cookie cutter.

This was the messy part, but they loved it!

Cooked, glazed and ready to eat! Yummy!
