We went on Carnival Cruise Lines out of Long Beach, CA. Our ship was originally suppose to stop in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. But because of the violence going on down in Mazatlan, they cancelled that port. So then we were going to be in Cabo for an extra day instead. The ship was suppose to leave Long Beach on Sunday at 4:30 pm. It was terrible, rainy weather and we didn't end up leaving until around 8 pm. They told us that because we left late we wouldn't make it to Cabo for that extra day. So we ended up being in Cabo for 1 day and Puerto Vallarta for 1 day. The other 5 days were spent on the ship. A little too long for us, we would rather be at port. But we did have a great time. The kids loved it and mom didn't have to cook for a whole week! yeah!!
While in Puerto Vallarta, Clay and the boys went on a zip line through a jungle of trees. They had a great time. The rest of our time was spent at the beach mostly. We all love the beach, especially when it's 85 degrees! The kids could have stayed there all day.
